Richard JonesCompany Director
Richard has lived in the Derbyshire area all his life, he has invested in Property in the area for nearly 30 years, building up a large Portfolio of Residential Buy-to Let Properties, before founding IPS Estates, who now manage his Portfolio.
During this time Richard has gained hands on experience in all trades relating to property sourcing, developing and renovation projects. His knowledge of all aspects of the buy to let market is vast and regularly mentors other landlords.
Richard is well known as a “Buy to let expert” in property circles and has spoken at many property events up and down the country on the subject, he has also written articles for Property magazines such as “Property Investor news” and “Your Property Network Magazine” to name but a few.
Richard has also been a member of the National Landlords Association for many years, and is an accredited Landlord within the organisation, following recent legislation changes, Richard knows exactly what the needs of a buy to let landlord of the future look like.
Adam LawrenceCompany Director, MA PPE (Oxon) MBA (distinction) (Warwick)
Adam is an Oxford graduate and top-of-class Warwick MBA, he has been a full-time property and business professional for over fifteen years, with experience in delivering significant results.
He joined the business in October 2017 to help expand it through a new phase. He like Richard also has a significant property portfolio around the Midlands area, so understands the needs of a landlord investor. Adam is ARLA qualified and holds RentSmart wales accreditation also.
A “prolific dealmaker”, Adam enjoys property and business, and is known in property circles as a “Deal Doctor” so is well placed to help IPS clients with their investment deals.
Dawn WallbanksSales and Lettings Director
Dawn has years of experience in Sales and Lettings and has previously held roles with another well know national agent. Her role within IPS Estates is the days to day management and strategy within our busy office, where her knowledge and experience is a great asset to our vendors and landlords. The role of Director is a just reward for her years of dedication to the industry.
Katie SmithSales & Lettings Negotiator
Katie came to IPS Estates in March 2020 and has settled in extremely well. With an estate agency background in both sales and lettings, her knowledge and experience have proven very valuable in the day-to-day running of the office.
Sarah GraingerLettings & Sales Administrator
Sarah joined IPS from an estate agency background, she has been local to the area all her life, so is well placed to offer her opinion about local Property. Being meticulous is her thing, and not much gets past Sarah when ensuring procedures are followed. She is also a great singer (we are told)!
Janet MurrayAccounts Manager
Janet came from an accountancy teaching background and is an AAT Qualified Accountant. Her role as head of accounts at IPS Estates is to reconcile the Client Account to pay landlords and contractors etc. She also manages the company accounts and provides KPI’s for the director of the business. Janet and Cheryl also liaise directly with landlords where necessary.
Cheryl LeeBookkeeping & Accounts
Cheryl has fifteen years accounts experience within practice and industry and has qualifications in Sage accounts and payroll. Her role within IPS Estates is Bookkeeper but she also processes landlord rental payments as required. Both Janet and Cheryl work very well together to ensure the smooth running of the accounts side of IPS Estates, so they can both advise the directors/staff on financial matters of the business. We feel very lucky to have them both!
